My story

Who’s behind the crown?

I’m Queen Malla — a mom, an educator, and a curious explorer of life’s depth and everyday beauty.

By nature, I’m endlessly curious. I have degrees in early childhood education and Christian theology and I’ve studied a little bit of everything in between. But that’s just who I am: when something sparks my curiosity, I dive in — even if yesterday’s grocery list is still hiding between my research papers. And I’d love to bring you with me.

I have a husband and two boys, and like so many working moms, I’m juggling more than I ever expected. Some days feel like dancing, some more like balancing a crown that keeps sliding off. And honestly? My crown slips daily.

But I’ve learned this: even in the rush, there are places where light gets in. Small, stubborn moments of meaning — the moments that remind you who you are and give you the strength to live like the queen of your own messy, miraculous life. Not because everything is perfect, but because you carry yourself with quiet wisdom and dignity — even when the kitchen looks like a small storm just passed through.

If that sounds like your kind of kingdom, pull up a chair. Let’s rule this wonderfully imperfect life — crown a little sideways and heart wide open.
